Brighton and Hove Albion have made 24-year-old Rochdale striker Glenn Murray their most expensive signing for 25 years. The former Carlisle forward, who has scored six goals in his last seven games, has signed for �300,000 in a three-and-a-half-year deal.
"He's over six foot tall, a typical centre forward. He's a vital addition," said Albion boss Dean Wilkins.
"This underlines our promotion ambitions," Chairman Dick Knight added.
