Brentford have signed Brighton striker Nathan Elder for �35,000 after he passed a medical on Thursday. The 20-year-old moved to the Withdean from Billericay for �10,000 in December 2006 but has made only three starts for the Seagulls.
He scored on his first appearance, but failed to hold down his place up front.
Charlton have also extended Osei Sankofa's loan deal until the end of the season, while Ricky Shakes has had his deal extended until the end of May.
