Reading midfielder Andy Griffin says the pre-season tour of the Balkans has brought the squad closer together.
Results were mixed for the Royals, who beat Red Star Belgrade's B side and Inter Zapresic, but lost to NK Celje.
Griffin told BBC Berkshire: "You question a 10-day trip as you can get a little bit of boredom creeping in.
"But it's been successful football-wise and for team-building and bonding. It's a close-knit team anyway but it's been a good trip."
