Queens Park Rangers have decided not to sign Gregory Vignal following his recent trial at Loftus Road.
The former Liverpool and Portsmouth left-back has been told he can leave French club Lens on a free transfer.
He played for QPR in pre-season friendlies at Wycombe and Kettering but has been told he will not be offered a contract by the club.
Rangers are still giving a trial to former Coventry, Millwall and Ipswich goalkeeper Andy Marshall.
