Port Vale midfielder Ross Davidson has joined Unibond Premier League side Nantwich Town on loan until 18 January.
The 20-year-old was due to make his debut for the Dabbers against Durham City on Saturday but the match was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Davidson, who has made 28 appearances for Vale, started six games while on loan at Blue Square North side Stafford Rangers earlier in the season.
He was placed on the transfer list by Vale manager Micky Adams in August.
That decision came just weeks after Davidson had agreed a new one-year contract at Vale Park and he has yet to feature in the first team under Adams.
