Vale must remain focused - Fraser

Port Vale captain Tommy Fraser has warned his team mates of complacency after their good start to the season.

The Valiants have knocked out two Championship clubs in the Carling Cup and are two points away from the League Two play-offs after six games.

Fraser told BBC Radio Stoke: "People are talking about us as if we are in the top three.

"We've got to keep our feet on the ground. I won't praise us until we are in the top three."

Fraser added: "I think this club is massively underachieving and has done for a few years now. It needs to move up the leagues."

The 21-year-old, who signed for Vale in June after being released by Brighton, is confident the Burslem club can pick up their first three points on the road at Aldershot on Saturday.

"I think there is a very good chance of us doing it. The confidence within the squad is sky high."
