Glover has lost 15 of his 31 matches in permanent charge of Port Vale
Dean Glover has said he has been a "dead man walking" since taking over as Port Vale manager in October.
Glover admitted he was not a universally popular appointment as the successor to Lee Sinnott, but told BBC Radio Stoke he would not quit.
"I've always been a dead man walking," he said after the surprise 1-0 win at Bradford City on Saturday.
"I've just got to take each game as it comes, if we get more results like that, people will enjoy it more."
Vale have won 11 and lost 15 of the 31 matches that Glover has been in charge at Vale Park.
Protests against Glover and the club's board followed their home defeat against Luton on 28 February, and banners have regularly been seen amongst the Vale support since that loss.
The win against Bradford was only their fourth victory of 2009.
"We've had a rough time of late with our results, especially the one at Accrington (a 2-0 defeat) on Tuesday," said Glover.
"It's about the attitude of the players, if they're ready for a battle.
"(At Bradford) They competed and worked extremely hard."
