Taiwo looks to learn on Vale loan

Taiwo was attracted to Port Vale because of manager Lee Sinnott

Port Vale midfielder Tom Taiwo says he is looking to learn from his spell with the Valiants following his loan move from Chelsea.

The 18-year-old has moved to Vale Park for a month and made his debut in Saturday's 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I really want to get some games under my belt and learn from the experienced pros.

"The boys have made me feel really welcome and the manager has told me to express and enjoy myself."

Taiwo first met manager Lee Sinnott during his time with the Leeds United academy where the Vale boss was a coach.

He says his relationship with Sinnott was a big part of his move to Vale Park.

"He knows exactly what I can give him and I know the type of person he is," said Taiwo.

"That was what made me want to join Port Vale and I'm glad that he brought me on board."
