Pearson has won nine Paralympic gold medals in his career

Staffordshire para-dressage rider Lee Pearson is already looking forward to London 2012 after securing three gold medals at the Beijing Games.

Riding Gentleman, Pearson took his career tally to nine Paralympic gold medals with victory in the 1B individual, team and freestyle events.

The 34-year-old told the BBC: "I'm so looking forward to the London Games in 2012. Bring it on.

"Their will be a phenomenal amount of pressure but I can cope with that."

He also dismissed any suggestions that he was thinking about retiring from the sport.

"It's a sport where there isn't really an age limit," said Pearson.

"I think any Olympian or Paralympian would want to compete in a Games in their own country so I'm definitely not retiring yet."
