Seip was transfer listed by Argyle after a breach of discipline
Plymouth Argyle have given permission for on-loan defender Marcel Seip to play for Blackpool when the two sides meet on Saturday 17 October.
Seip, 27, moved to Blackpool on a one-month loan at the end of September, after being placed on the transfer list by Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock.
Plymouth director Keith Todd said allowing Seip to play against his parent club would be beneficial.
"Marcel needs to be playing matches," he told the club's website.
"While it is sometimes the case that on-loan players are forbidden from playing against their parent club, all such situation need to be consider on their own merits.
"Should Marcel be selected against us, I am sure our players will enjoy playing against him."
