Blackpool have signed defender Marcel Seip from Championship rivals Plymouth Argyle on a one-month loan deal.
The 27-year-old was on the transfer list at Home Park following a breach of club discipline.
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway told BBC Radio Lancashire: "The chairman's done a fantastic job and got another player.
"He's a very good player and whatever happened at Plymouth has gone now and hopefully we'll be able to get him going again here."
He added: "With things going so well I didn't want to be forced into changes. But with Marcel here now I have a few options."
Holloway first signed the Netherlands-born defender from Heerenveen in August 2006 while he was in charge of Plymouth.
Seip arrives at Bloomfield Road having made 128 appearances for the Pilgrims.
Holloway swooped to bring in Seip as temporary cover because of injury problems following the weekend victory over Peterborough,
Seip was an unused substitute in Blackpool's 2-0 defeat by Bristol City on Tuesday.
