Emile Mpenza got the second in Plymouth's 2-1 win over Cardiff
Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock says his side can make the play-offs if they can maintain the current improvement in their Home Park form.
Argyle have taken 14 points from nine home games, the same number as they have achieved so far on their travels.
"Normally it's the other way round with dramatically more points at home than away," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"If we can keep churning out results here and do what we're doing away from home, who knows what we can achieve."
Saturday's 2-1 win over Cardiff was Argyle's fourth victory at Home Park in their last six home matches - even though they have not been playing at their best. And it moved them up to seventh in the Championship table, just outside the play-off places on goal difference.
