Plymouth Argyle lost their penultimate pre-season friendly 1-0 to manager Paul Sturrock's former club Dundee United at Home Park on Saturday.

Francisco Sandanza's strike two minutes after half time was enough to give the Scottish Premier League side the win.

Manager Paul Sturrock told the club website after the match that his players need more confidence.

"They are a young squad and there is a lack of belief," Sturrock told the club website after the match.
