Peterborough United have made experienced midfielder Micah Hyde available for transfer.
The former Watford and Cambridge man, 33, has fallen out of favour at London Road, making just five league starts so far this season.
Director of football Barry Fry told the club website: 'Micah's name has been circulated and maybe something will happen in the January.
"We have an excellent squad and we are strong in that area of the pitch".
Hyde joined Posh from Burnley in January 2007 and has made 56 league starts in his time at London Road.
He was named club captain over the summer, but Paul Coutts, Charlie Lee and Dean Keates have all been preferred by manager Darren Ferguson in recent weeks.
