Oxford United's players have been urged to restart their season positively after the poor weather prevented any action for the U's so far in 2010.
They have been using indoor facilities in Milton Keynes, with four of the last five matches postponed.
"The players are in good shape but we can't afford to hang back for two or three weeks," U's manager Chris Wilder told BBC Oxford.
"As soon as the whistle goes on that first game we need to be bang at it."
He added: "There are a lot of games to play and they will come thick and fast. It's going to be Saturday and Tuesday right the way through.
"We have a lot to look forward to, a lot of work ahead of us but hopefully we can be successful."
