Green has been a regular starter for Oxford since joining from Kettering

Oxford United have completed the permanent signing of striker Francis Green from Kettering.

The 29-year-old had technically been on loan, with both clubs having agreed in November that the loan would be converted into long-term deal.

"I came here looking to make things permanent and I am delighted that it's happened," said Green.

"There's a great bunch of lads here and I hope I can contribute to a very successful second half of the season."

Green joined Kettering in July after his release by Macclesfield.
