Oxford United have made Kettering striker Francis Green their second loan signing in less than 24 hours.
The 29-year-old former Peterborough and Lincoln man has joined the U's with a view to a permanent deal.
Boss Chris Wilder told the club's website: "He has played a major part in Kettering's excellent start to the season and adds versatility."
Green could make his U's debut on Tuesday against Forest Green, alongside fellow new boy Onome Sodje.
The Poppies only signed Green in July after his release by Macclesfield and he has scored four Blue Square Premier goals this season.
