Winger Alex Rhodes has left Oxford United, following hard on the heels of defender Shane Killock.

Rhodes has left by mutual consent after failing to break into the first team since arriving on a free transfer.

Killock, meanwhile, has joined Telford United on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell at the Blue Square North side.

Oxford manager Chris Wilder told the club's website: "Neither has played as much as they would have liked."

He added: "I hope they go on and become major success stories wherever they go."
