Oxford United held Queens Park Rangers to a 2-2 draw in their first home pre-season game of the summer.
The visitors took the lead on nine minutes thanks to a cool finish inside the penalty area from Gavin Mahon.
Matt Green won and then converted a second-half penalty for United before Wayne Routledge put Rangers ahead.
But substitute Jack Midson earned the U's the draw with a goal in his first Kassam Stadium appearance since joining the club from Histon.
Oxford manager Chris Wilder told BBC Oxford: "We are delighted. The desire to do well and their determination not to get beat was immense."
