Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has urged his players to win their next two home games after a humiliating opening defeat by Barrow on Friday.
Teenage defender James Clarke was sent off in the first half before the U's finally went down 3-0 to the Cumbrians.
Patterson told BBC Oxford that he expects a reaction from his players.
"They have to stand up to be counted. It is as simple as that. If we can manage to get the two wins, then three games and six points is decent form."
The U's are next in action against Weymouth on 12 August at 1945 BST.
BBC Oxford has full match commentary on 95.2FM and on their website.
