Slater was keen ensure Ohiambo returned to Northcourt Road

Abingdon United manager Andy Slater says he is confident that Anaclet Odhiambo will score goals on his return to Northcourt Road.

Odhiambo re-signed for the club after a spell at Didcot Town and Slater told BBC Oxford that the forward will be a successful reacquisition.

"You know he's a proven goalscorer, he's scored 20 goals plus in the last few seasons," said Slater.

"Hopefully he can contribute again. It's a big bonus having him back."
