We have 13 games to go and we've got a lot of scrapping to do but we've all got to believe we can do it
Oldham boss John Sheridan
The Boundary Park club go into the final third of the season in fifth spot, seven points adrift of automatic promotion.
Oldham boss John Sheridan told BBC Radio Manchester: "This is the important bit now, the last hurdle.
"We have 13 games to go and we've got a lot of scrapping to do but we've all got to believe we can do it."
"I don't pick out players individually, I'd rather get them in a group. We're a group, that's what we are. I would never pick someone out after a game, I think we're all together and if we make a mistake, we make it together.
"If I do have a chat with anyone - about the game or what's happened in the game - I say it in front of people so everyone knows where I'm coming from, whether it's one of the younger ones or one of the older players.
"They're all in the same boat and they all get the same treatment off me - that's the way I am."
