Smith spent time on loan at Raith Rovers last season

Notts County have signed former Dundee United striker Kevin Smith on a one-year deal, making him their ninth summer signing.

The 23-year-old had been on trial at Meadow Lane, featuring in their pre-season tour of Austria and during their friendly with Stoke City.

He was released by the Tangerines with a year left on his deal.

Notts are also expecting to complete two loan signings in the early part of this week.
