Notts County trio Craig Westcarr, Stephen Hunt and Mike Edwards have all signed new two-year deals with the newly-promoted League One club.

Winger Westcarr, 25, made 33 starts last season and scored nine goals including a hat-trick against Hereford.

Defenders Hunt, also 25, and Edwards, 30, helped Notts keep 27 clean sheets in all competitions last term.

Chief executive officer Jim Rodwell said: "We're delighted that three keys players have agreed to stay."

He added: "The hard work is continuing behind the scenes to bring in new faces to compliment the squad but securing these three on new deals is a massive step forward in our preparations for next year."
