Notts County have signed striker Craig Westcarr on a one-year contract, following his release by Kettering.
The former Nottingham Forest forward follows midfielders Ricky Ravenhill and Neal Bishop in moving to Meadow Lane.
The 24-year-old, who has taken a pay cut to join the Magpies, played only three times for the Reds before leaving the City Ground to join Cambridge.
Manager Ian McParland, who worked with Westcarr at Forest, said: "He has plenty of pace and can score goals."
Westcarr scored twice for Kettering against Fulham in the FA Cup this season.
