Notts County goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel insists he is not affected by newspaper talk about his wages.
The former Manchester City player, 23, joined the Magpies last summer on a reported £15,000-a-week deal, roughly 15 times the League Two average.
Schmeichel told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It doesn't bother me. As long as my manager and team-mates are happy nothing else really matters to me.
"I'd be the same no matter what I earned. I love football."
He added: "At the moment a lot of people like to see lists of who earns what, but it doesn't interest me at all."
The Dane has worked under four managers and three owners in just seven months at Meadow Lane, but says he has not found that disruptive.

"I was at a club with a hell of a lot of unrest at Man City so I've been used to a lot of things going on above the players' heads," he said.
"There's no point wasting energy on things you can't affect, and we're not going to affect decisions that are made at boardroom level.
"As long as we're doing well it doesn't really matter."
