Weston was offered a new deal by the Magpies in October
Notts County manager Ian McParland says he is still waiting for winger Myles Weston to sign a new contract - weeks after thinking the deal was done.
McParland made the 21-year-old his player of the year last term and is eager to tie him to a long-term deal.
"I thought it was all done and dusted," McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham. "His dad said he was going to sign a contract then they changed their mind.
"The club has made him a good offer and I think he'd best staying with us."
McParland added: "It would nice to get that tied up if it's going to happen but in the meantime I still have to start looking and have a plan B if Myles doesn't sign his contract."
