Mark Ealham has been one of Notts' key performers in Twenty20 cricket |
All-rounder Mark Ealham says Nottinghamshire must make the most of a lopsided Twenty20 fixture list as they look to recover from Monday's defeat. Following the one-wicket loss to Durham, Notts now face five successive away games as Trent Bridge is one of the World Twenty20 host venues. Ealham told BBC Radio Nottingham: "If we can get three or four wins, Trent Bridge will be a good place to be. "But it'd probably be ideal if you mixed and matched it a bit." Notts travel to Lancashire, Derbyshire, Durham, Yorkshire and Leicestershire while the World Twenty20 gets underway. | 606: DEBATE |
But on the plus side the defeat against Durham was watched by more than 6,500 fans at Trent Bridge and Ealham knows impressive home support could be significant by the time the county return to their home ground. Before then, Notts are next in action on Thursday when they take on Lancashire at Old Trafford and Ealham said: "Lancashire are a good side, but we need to get on the board soon." BBC Radio Nottingham will have commentary on Lancashire v Notts on Thursday (95.5fm, Digital Radio and bbc.co.uk/nottingham) from 1730 BST.
