Notts County chairman John Armstrong-Holmes will continue in his role after surviving a vote of no confidence at a meeting of the Supporters Trust.
Armstrong-Holmes and supporter director Eric Kerry both saw off attempts to remove them from the club's board at the special meeting on Tuesday night.
Armstrong-Holmes has previously said potential investment may be jeopardised if the pair were removed from office.
An unnamed investor first approached the club in September.
