Norwich City midfielder Simon Whaley has left the club by mutual consent.
The 24-year-old wide player was signed by previous manager Bryan Gunn in July, penning a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Preston.
However, he made just three league appearances and six games in total and has had loan spells in League Two with Rochdale and Bradford.
Whaley started his career at Bury, before joining Preston in 2006 and he also had a loan spell at Barnsley.
