Rochdale have signed Norwich City winger Simon Whaley on a month-long loan deal.
The 24-year-old joined City from Preston in July for a reported fee of around £250,000.
He started the Canaries' first four games of the season, but lost his place after Paul Lambert replaced Bryan Gunn as Norwich manager.
Whaley is expected to go straight into Dale manager Keith Hill's side for their trip to Northampton on Saturday.
