Norwich City sign Russell Martin and Anthony McNamee
Martin and McNamee joined Norwich on emergency loan deals in November
Norwich City have signed Peterborough United defender Russell Martin and Swindon Town winger Anthony McNamee on permanent contracts.
The pair, who have joined for undisclosed fees, were already at the club, having both arrived on emergency loan deals at the end of November.
Martin, 24, has started seven matches since then, while McNamee, 26, has made two appearances as a substitute.
Martin previously played under City boss Paul Lambert at Wycombe Wanderers.
Lambert told the club's website: "I think they will be terrific players for this club."
Martin added: "I stated my desire to stay here permanently as soon as I saw the size of the club, the fanbase, the stadium and the facilities at the training ground.
"Thankfully I've done enough to prove to Paul Lambert in the four weeks that I'm worthy of staying and I'm really enjoying playing for him as I think most of the lads do."
McNamee, who started his career with Watford, scored four times in 88 appearances for Swindon before moving to Carrow Road. But he is still waiting for his first start for the Canaries.
"Anthony is finding it a bit difficult at the minute just because of the way the team is going," added Lambert. "But his time will come."
