Norwich midfielders Mark Fotheringham and Robert Eagle have had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.
Both players were out of contract at the end of the season and have decided to end their deals early.
Fotheringham, 25, joined City in January 2007 as a free agent while 21-year-old Eagle came through the youth system at Carrow Road.
Manager Bryan Gunn told the club's website: "Both agree their best chance of regular football is elsewhere."
