Norwich winger Robert Eagle has signed a new one-year deal at the club. Manager Peter Grant said he had been pleased with the 20-year-old's progress, telling the Norwich website: "He helps gives us a balance.
"His overall performances, whether that be in the reserve team or in training, has been first class. I'm very pleased to give him his just rewards."
Eagle said: "It's very pleasing. It is another year at Norwich. I am going to try next to get more regular starts."
He added: "I've been in the squad quite a lot this season but only on the fringes. I want to be a bigger part of the team."
Grant said that had he would consider loaning Eagle at some point to increase his first-team opportunities.
"To be fair, it is only because he has had Darren Huckerby and Simon Lappin in front of him that he has not had more chances," added Grant.
"He is another one that if he does not make it into the first team I would look to loan him out."
