Lita's initial loan at Carrow Road was funded by private business
Norwich City have extended Leroy Lita's loan deal which will see him remain at Carrow Road until Sunday, 7 December.
Reading boss Steve Coppell agreed to the deal after the 23-year-old striker scored four goals in six games during his initial month-long deal.
Canaries boss Glenn Roeder now has another six games with Lita including the home match against Ipswich.
The club have confirmed that Norwich businessman Carl Moore will make a 'significant contribution' to the deal.
Moore helped to fund Lita's initial loan and has dipped into his pocket again to help the Canaries keep the player.
The Norwich fan helped pay Darren Huckerby's wages when he joined the club from Manchester City in 2003.
Norwich City chief executive Neil Doncaster told BBC Radio Norfolk the Lita deal could not have happened without Moore's input.
"Any contribution that we receive from any source has got to be well received.
"The reality is that most of the transfers we have done here in recent years have been financed by individuals, usually on the board.
"The fact that Carl Moore isn't on the board doesn't detract from the fact he's a supporter who's helping to finance the arrival of a player to this team."
Reading are able to recall Lita from the loan with 24 hours notice.
Doncaster has warned supporters that Norwich will only be able to be active in the transfer market with the support of investors like Moore.
"The reality of running a Championship club is that bringing players in is financed by wealthy individuals, that's life and we've got to get used to that."
