Pattison was Glenn Roeder's first Norwich City signing
Norwich City midfielder Matty Pattison hopes to score more goals for the Canaries after breaking his duck in the 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old South African told BBC Radio Norfolk of his delight at finally scoring after just over a year at City.
"It's been a long time coming so it's a good feeling, hopefully there's plenty more to come," he said.
"Afterwards in the changing room it was buzzing, for a footballer you want that feeling all the time."
Pattison joined Norwich from Newcastle in January following a successful loan spell and seemingly he was at the top of Glenn Roeder's wanted list when the former Magpies boss joined City.
Pattison scored the opening goal at the City Ground, moments after Norwich captain Gary Doherty was sent off, and Pattison thought the team showed tremendous courage to win the game, playing 70 minutes with 10 men.
"It's a hard place to come this, and going down to 10 men we knew it was going to be a hard job, but the lads stuck to it and put an extra shift in and got the rewards," he said.
"We've come in and knuckled down, dogged it out and played some good football as well with 10 men, we've just got to go into the next game thinking the same and try and get the same result."
