Northampton Town manager Ian Sampson says he is in the hunt for a goalkeeper to replace the injured Chris Dunn.
Dunn, 22, damaged his ankle in pre-season, and could be out for three weeks, with 18-year-old Paul Walker deputising in the friendly games.
Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton: "We're looking to get a goalkeeper in on loan. We've missed out on a few targets but hopefully we'll get one.
"I would love to see Jason Steele or Mark Bunn back, but it's unlikely."
Steele was on loan at Sixfields in 2009/10, playing 13 matches, while Bunn joined Blackburn in 2008 after four seasons with Northampton.
