Northampton Town midfielder Abdul Osman has signed a new one-year contract to stay at the club.
Osman, 23, has made 72 appearances for the Cobblers since arriving at Sixfields in 2008, scoring four goals.
"He did very well for us last season and played a big part in the successful run we had after Christmas," said boss Ian Sampson.
"We were always keen to keep him at the club and I am very pleased we have reached an agreement with him."
Sampson added: "He will be vital to the way I want us to play this season and it's good news he has signed his new contract."
Osman had originally agreed to a week-by-week deal earlier in July.
