Northampton Town midfielder Abdul Osman has signed a new week-to-week contract at Sixfields.
The 23-year-old can play for the club while he considers the offer of a permanent contract.
He is not entitled to a Bosman free transfer and could only move to another club if compensation was paid.
Osman, who has made 63 starts in two seasons for Northampton, joined the Cobblers from Gretna in 2008 after a move to Kilmarnock fell through.
