Corby Town sign ex-Grimsby Town striker Nathan Jarman
Corby Town have signed former Barnsley and Grimsby striker Nathan Jarman on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old made 42 appearances for the Mariners before his contract was terminated in May.
Corby boss Graham Drury told BBC Radio Northampton: "He's done very well for us in pre-season.
"He can play in couple of areas, out wide and up front, and he showed that he's got quality finishing with his goal against Peterborough."
Jarman scored Corby's goal in their 1-0 win against Peterborough United to secure the Maunsell Cup.
We're down to an 18-man squad and so we're looking forward to getting underway
Graham Drury
Before his move to Rockingham Triangle, he had been on trial at Blue Square Bet North rivals Harrogate, who Corby play on the opening day.
Drury has started to trim his squad down for the new campaign.
"I let Mark Ducket go. He was with me in the Southern Premier but unfortunately he didn't make it. Neil Cartwright from Hinckley got an injury and others took the chances in front of him," he said.
"We had Stuart Giddings on trial from Darlington but Asa Charlton has done really well.
"We're down to an 18-man squad and so we're looking forward to getting underway now."
