Northampton Town midfielder Liam Davis says he is keen to turn his injury-hit season around.
The 23-year-old has made just five substitute appearances in 2009/10, after breaking his toe in pre-season.
Davis told BBC Radio Northampton: "It's probably been my worst season. I just want to be playing.
"It's a delicate injury and it could come back. But I've been working hard in the gym so I could be straight back into action with the team."
He added: "The management have been brilliant, and they've been treating me like one of the players."

Davis returned for Northampton Town against Accrington Stanley after a three-month absence, and was also involved in the 3-0 defeat by Aldershot.
"We just have to look to the next game now, because one loss in 12 is still good. The fans and players have got to keep positive."
