Northampton Town striker Adebayo Akinfenwa praised his team-mates after his brace rescued a League Two draw with Cheltenham on Saturday.
Akinfenwa, 27, netted two equalisers as the struggling Cobblers claimed a 2-2 draw at Whaddon Road.
"As a centre-forward you want to score because you're judged by your goals," he told BBC Radio Northampton.
"But I can't score without the team - we have a good unit here and we all train hard."
He continued: "It's just not falling for us to get all three points at the moment. We're always having to come back from a goal or two goals down.
"It's an uphill struggle but we'll go back on the training pitch and hopefully we'll get it right sooner rather than later."
Northampton are currently 18th in League Two - despite Akinfenwa's eight goals from 14 games - and entertain Port Vale at Sixfields on Saturday.
