Akinfenwa has scored 22 goals in his career at Sixfields
Northampton Town striker Adebayo Akinfenwa says that he has set himself a target of 15 goals for the upcoming League Two season.
The 27-year-old hit 13 goals in League One for the Cobblers last season, as well as two in the Carling Cup.
"If I can beat 15, then I'm going in the right direction of bettering myself," he told BBC Radio Northampton.
"I want to play games and stay injury free. If I can do that then those goals will come."

Northampton have added strikers Steve Guinan, Gary Mulligan and Billy McKay to their squad for the new campaign, and Akinfenwa knows the competition for places will be tough.
"I don't think anyone is guaranteed a place to start," he said.
"The new players have bedded in well, we've got a good team spirit here and that's what's needed to get promoted."
The Cobblers kick off their League Two campaign against Macclesfield on Saturday, and Akinfenwa is hoping to feature despite a calf injury sustained in pre-season.
"We're going to try to rectify last season," he added.
"It's going to be a challenge, but we've got a new, fresh squad with the same nucleus of beliefs to work hard and train hard."
