Northampton twice came from behind to rescue a point at Cheltenham.
Cheltenham took the lead then Barry Hayles' effort deflected off Ryan Gilligan to sneak in under goalkeeper Chris Dunn.
Northampton equalised when Adebayo Akinfenwa capitalised on a ricochet and some loose marking to find the corner.
Hayles restored Cheltenham's lead by poking in from a corner but Akinfenwa chased a long punt and slid in a low shot to restore parity once again.
Acting Cheltenham Town manager John Schofield told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"The performance was OK but I was disappointed with the way that we conceded the second goal. We should have defended it better.
"It's the little mistakes that add up. We had a ball come 60 yards and we've let it bounce - I just want them to make a decision"
"I'm disappointed. We should have taken three points but I've got a lot better feeling than I had after the defeat at Torquay."
Northampton Town manager Ian Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton:
"It was a typical League Two game.
"It was Route One from Cheltenham, playing to their strengths. We tried to get the ball down but not enough for my liking. We dealt with their long balls better second half, so it was probably a fair result.
"(Akinfenwa) is a handful, he's training better and he scored two good goals today. There's the makings of a decent partnership (with Courtney Herbert)."
