Northampton Town are lining up a possible move for West Ham defender Ezomo Iriekpen to aid their fight against the drop.

Cobblers boss Terry Fenwick is believed to be keen to bring in Iriekpen ahead of Town's game against Bristol City.

However, a hamstring injury sustained while playing for the Cobblers' reserves could delay any deal.

Iriekpen, 20, played eight games on loan for Leyton Orient earlier this season.
