Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Stephen Gleeson faces at least three months on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the defeat at Bristol Rovers.

Gleeson was stretchered off at the Memorial Stadium after a collision with Rovers' Andy Williams as the home side won 1-0 on Easter Monday.

Scans are expected to show the 21-year-old Irish player suffered medial ligament damage.

Dons boss Paul Ince said: "Stevie is likely to be out for three months."

Gleeson joined the Dons from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer and has made thirty-six appearances since his arrival at Stadium MK.
