Gleeson has also had a loan spell at Stockport this season
Midfielder Stephen Gleeson has been ruled out of MK Dons' play-off campaign after suffering ankle ligament damage.
The Republic of Ireland international, 20, on loan from Wolves, was injured during Saturday's 1-0 loss to Walsall.
Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo told the club's website: "Unfortunately he has a bad injury and will not feature again this season."
Defender Sean O'Hanlon could also miss the League One play-offs after suffering a knee injury.
Di Matteo said: "We will see how Sean recovers in the next few days.
"He'll see another specialist on Thursday and we hope it's not as bad as it might have been, we'll have to see if we can get him back for one of the play-off games."
Gleeson made five impressive performances for the Dons, which included four wins, but will now return to Wolves.
