Mansfield Town winger Louis Briscoe has signed a new deal which keeps him at Field Mill until May 2012.

Briscoe, 22, was under contract until the end of this season but boss David Holdsworth was keen to extend his stay.

Holdsworth said: "I've had a number of enquiries from teams in and around us so I'm delighted."

Meanwhile, Tom Naylor and Gary Mills are back after loan spells at Alfreton and Forest Green while Matt Somner has extended his stay with Altrincham.

Midfielder Somner will now be with the Blue Square Bet Premier's bottom club until January 2011.
