McEwan says this is a 'thin period' in the history of the club

Mansfield Town boss Billy McEwan thinks that the club's should come and get behind the Stags or stay away.

He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "If you want to come and you're not happy with the product then you are not under pressure to come back.

"We've got to keep developing, improving and we need everybody with us, not against us."

The Stags, who have lost their last four games in the Blue Square Premier, face York in the FA Cup on Saturday.

"So we're saying get behind your team we need your support - they'll say we want good football and so do we."
