Butcher has started just three games this season because of injuries

Macclesfield Town duo Emile Sinclair and Richard Butcher both face lay-offs after picking up injuries.

Sinclair, 22, came off in the loss at Lincoln City in what has been diagnosed as a pulled hamstring which is expected to keep him out for four weeks.

Butcher, 29, had returned to training from knee ligament damage but injured the medial ligaments in his other knee and is out for at least a month.

Izak Reid and Paul Morgan are expected to return to training this week.
